27th March - 26th June , 2010. 'Park Life' The Crafts Centre & Design Gallery, Leeds. A mixed showcase of jewellery, ceramics, glass and works in mixed media which incorporates things we might see in our National Parks and the British countryside. Flowers, leaves, insects, small animals and other wildlife are represented within this unique collection of pieces providing a real feast for the eyes as designers interpret the nature they see around them in their wonderful pieces of contemporary craft.
June 11th , 2010. An Exhibition based upon the Natural History of The Northumberland National Park. The Biscuit Factory, Newcastle upon Tyne. 11th June Show opens. Details to follow.
25th June - 27th June, 2010. 'Earth & Fire' Rufford Country Park, Nottinghamshire
Showcasing the very best in national and international studio ceramics, this is an event not be missed. Over 100 makers will be showing work over the 3 days as well as demonstrations and talks. I will be showing new work for 2010.
30th July - 1st August, 2010. 'Potfest in the Park' Nr. Penrith, Cumbria
If you have never been to this one treat yourself this year, it really is rather special. The venue, Hutton-in-the-Forest, is a cultural destination in itself with it's walled garden, topiary terraces and woodland walks. The ceramics festival takes place in and around marquees in front of the house, with the potters competition pieces on the lawn, juxtaposing ancient architecture and modern ceramics. I am returning to this selected show after a few years break.
6th August - 8th August, 2010. 'Art in Clay' Hatfield, Hertfordshire
I will be showing at the this well loved show, come and see the new range of animals and birds! Now well established as one of the most important events in the ceramics calendar, the 16th National Pottery and Ceramics Festival will take place at Hatfield House, Hertfordshire. A weekend to interest potters, enthusiasts and an appreciative public, allows everyone to experience the full range of work on offer in the ceramic community today.
20th - 21st November, 2010. 'Art in Clay- Farnham' Farnham Maltings, Surrey
This one will be a first for me, but the event itself is long established as one of the most important events in the ceramics calendar, the Art in Clay Pottery & Ceramics Festival returns to the Farnham Maltings, George Square, Farnham, Surrey this November.
