Whether you are complete beginner or someone more experienced in printmaking, this course will teach and develop the skills to enable you to make further lino prints in the future. At the end of the weekend you will have made a small edition of coloured lino prints

• planning your print
• transferring your design to the lino
• colour mixing
• inking
• print registration
• making your print
• continuing to make prints from home

• apron or clothes which you don’t mind getting ink on
• carbon paper (small pack of A4 from stationers)
• pencils
• eraser
• designs, drawings, ideas for a print - don't worry if this sounds tricky, Jeremy will help and suggest lots of ways of starting a print!
• enthusiasim and a keenness to learn!

Jeremy James has worked as a professional artist for 25 years. In that time he has exhibited nationally and internationally, his work is held in numerous private and public collections. Jeremy is well known for his enthusiastic and skilled teaching, helping many to realize their ambitions and creativity; he has taught at many colleges and universities during his career.
