Jeremy James Ceramics is a ceramic sculpture studio based in Derbyshire in the United Kingdom. 'Barn Owl' 30cm high, limoges porcelain and found wood

'Barn Owl' was made almost immediately after a recent trip to North Norfolk. Walking along a cold November estuary near the coast a white, bobbing shape appeared. Quartering the ground carefully the barn owl eventually came to rest on a post, sitting for almost a minute, looking around into the failing light. The wood that the owl perches on was driftwood found from that area.

'Storm Hare' recalls watching approaching squalls from numerous Scottish islands. I have sat many a time on these islands huddled in anticipation of the wind and rain seen on the horizon. In this print I have been replaced with a sheltering hare.
